WP 1 - nHAP characterization and properties of derived N-nanohybrids (CNR Nanotec)

Tasks 1.0-1 foresee the extraction of nHAP from biowastes, their physical-chemical characterization, and the loading with urea; tasks 1.2-3 aim at observing the N and P release dynamics of the nanostructures, also in soil. Task 1.4 is focused on the larger-scale production of nHAP-based fertilizers. Finally, task 1.5 will provide the indications for the functionalization of the nanostructure with a marker necessary to monitor the relationships of nHAP-U with the model plant.

Task 1.0 Extraction and characterization of nHAP from biowastes [CNR Nanotec].

Task 1.1: Functionalization of nHAP with urea [CNR Nanotec].

Task 1.2: P and N release from nHAP and nHAP-U [CNR Nanotec].

Task 1.3: P and N dynamics of nHAP and nHAP-U in soil columns [UniUD].

Task 1.4: Production on a larger scale of nHAP-based fertilizers [CNR Nanotec].

Task 1.5: Identification of a marker to monitor nHAP and nHAP-U in plants [CNR Nanotec, UniBZ, RU UniUD].
